Creamy Potato and Kumara Bake Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3 medium floury potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 medium kumara, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, finely sliced
  • 500g jar HEINZ [SERIOUSLY] GOOD™ Four Cheeses Creamy Lasagne Bake

  • Crumb Topping
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • Handful chopped parsley

Recipe Method

1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan bake). Grease a 20cm baking or casserole dish. Place a layer of potatoes and kumara in the dish. Scatter over sliced onion. Season with freshly ground black pepper and a little salt to taste.

2. Repeat until all the vegetables are used. Pour over HEINZ [SERIOUSLY] GOOD™ Four Cheeses Creamy Lasagne Bake. Cover and cook for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven. Sprinkle over the crumble topping. Return to the oven and cook with the lid off for a further 30–45 minutes, until the vegetables are cooked and topping is golden. Stand for 5 minutes before serving.

 

Crumb topping

Mix together breadcrumbs, cheese and parsley.
